The first letter (& number) identifies the 'leg' used. The 'leg' is the long flat bar between the mounting block
and 'peg' on which you place your foot. The second letter identifieds the mounting 'block'. 'Offset' is how far the
two bends move the leg out.
These are the 'legs' used for Gold Wings: D is 12 1/2" long with a 1 1/2" offset. E
is 12 1/2" long with a 1 1/2" offset and a 20 degree twist (for mounting pegs outboard). E.5 is 12 1/2" long with 1/2"
offset and a 20 degree twist. G is 9 1/2" long with a 1 1/2" offset and a 20 degree twist. K is 9 1/2" long with two
unequal bends.
These are the mounting 'blocks' used for Gold Wings: A mounts on the horizontal engine guard
and allows the 'leg' to drop about 45 degrees. D mounts on the horizontal engine guard and allows the 'leg' to drop about
30 degrees. L mounts on the horizontal engine guard and allows the 'leg' to drop about 20 degrees. F mounts to the vertical
engine guard and allows the 'leg' to drop about 45 degrees. Q mounts to the vertical engine guard and allows the 'leg'
to drop about 30 degrees.
